First In Print, On TV

In which we each pick a year and make a TV series out of words that were, at the time, brand-new.

Language is constantly evolving, and the dictionary people at Merriam-Webster have helpfully tracked the first times new coinages have appeared in print and grouped them by year in their website’s Time Traveler. And now that they’ve done the research, we’re each choosing a year and making TV series out of as many of that year’s new words as we can!
