The documentary genre loves stand-up comedy, whether it’s a docuseries about a legendary club, or a prestige doc about a particular practitioner (Belushi on Showtime; the gazillion Robin Williams properties). Today we’re each pitching two prospective documentaries for the comedy-nerd demo: one “real” one that we’d actually like to see; and one Documentary Now! spoof version.
